These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Property Investment Compass (the "Compass"), provided by Max Scott Property ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Compass you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What the Compass is

The Compass is an educational diagnostic tool. It asks you a series of questions and produces a personalised profile, strategy fit, and general guidance based on your answers and the framework set out in the book Why Property by Max Scott.

2. Not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice

The Compass is for general information and education only. It does not constitute financial, investment, tax, mortgage, or legal advice, and must not be relied upon as such. Property investment carries risk and the value of investments can fall as well as rise. Your results are generated automatically and are not a personal recommendation. You should seek advice from a suitably qualified and regulated professional before making any investment decision. We are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

3. No guarantees

We make no guarantee as to any particular outcome, return, or result from acting on the information provided. Any examples or projections are illustrative only and are not a promise of performance.

4. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when completing the Compass.
• Use the service lawfully and not attempt to disrupt, misuse, or gain unauthorised access to it.
• Not reproduce or redistribute the content commercially without our permission.

5. Intellectual property

All content, branding, design, and materials within the Compass are owned by or licensed to Max Scott Property and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use your own results for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Third-party links

The Compass may link to third-party websites (for example, to purchase the book). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Compass or its results, including any investment decisions you make. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
